RIP: Grand-Maman

My grandmother passed away last night at the age of 97. Words cannot express how our family is feeling right now. And yet, oddly enough, every time I think about her, the images that my mind conjures up make me smile.

And for some reason, all through my day at work I was humming "Always With Me," the main theme from Hayao Miyazaki's Oscar-winning Spirited Away. We can only hope that she was finally spirited away to a much better place.

May she rest in peace. . .
